About the 2 wires soldered together, do you need to solder them to anywhere else? Or just solder the ground and lead wire and leave the 2 soldered together wires alone? I'm confused

You just leave them 2 soldered together and tape them off so they don't touch any other electronics, only need the ground and live soldered to the pot and selector switch
Remember that the colour coding on the wires on pickups vary depending on the brand, for example seymour duncan has red and white taped together, green live and a bare ground

My actual question is, is the wood below the pickguard in a single coil, cut out enough to put a humbucker in with a pickguard change?
There was space enough,I just grind the plastic...
@@mihalkabm there is enough space in the wood cavity though? Already? No wood grinding necessary? I have a pickguard with a an hss set up already
@@masonhoward7826 you have to check the space. Some stratocasters have enough space, some don't.

And I did it thank you a lot. Soldering is kind of a bitch for a 1st timer but I didn't burn nothing important.
and you can tape the shape of the pickup on the back of a pickguard and cut it with a blade heated over gas fire if you don't have that spinning tool like me

Hi, the humbucker pickup doesn't produce humm...
sir, does it will humm in all pickup I mean you have modified in HSS right so the pickup which have single coil pickup at that pickup position does it humm
@@everestgaming7004 In HSS configuration, position 5(neck), 3(middle) and 2(bridge+middle) produce hum. Positions 4(neck+middle) and 1(bridge) are hum cancelling.
